The MI-TS-3871-ol from Gustav Klein is a multi channel infeed test system designed for the testing and emulation of batteries, fuel cells, and powertrains, with an additional overload capability for enhanced performance.

It features a high performance output of up to 1200V and 1200A, making it suitable for demanding applications. The system delivers a maximum power of 650kW in single operation, which can be expanded up to 1.3MW in parallel configurations to support larger and more complex testing requirements.

An integrated overload function provides added flexibility, allowing operation up to a maximum of 500kW when required, enabling more dynamic and intensive test conditions.

Yes, Mi-TS3871-ol allows for a short-term overload at the DC output. This enables the system to operate at specific points outside the nominal range, thus fulfilling requirements in the test sequence. The DC converter's output voltage and current specifications remain unchanged. However, a maximum output load up to 50% higher is available for a maximum of 60 seconds. The subsequent regeneration time (≤ nominal load) is five times the overload duration.
