The GI-2k Series is a high power AC current source, or generator, designed for both continuous and pulsed operation, delivering up to 50kA and 1MVA. It provides stable output across a frequency range of 40Hz to 200Hz, with selectable current ranges to suit different testing requirements.

A user friendly LCD interface makes operation straightforward, while support for remote control allows easy integration into automated systems. The series also offers current amplification capabilities and is well suited for manufacturing environments.

Designed for large scale industrial testing, equipment validation, research and development, and product testing, the GI-2k Series is particularly effective for circuit breaker evaluation. It enables precise trip time measurement through programmable test sequences, ensuring accurate and repeatable results.

Intuitive Front Panel Controls

The unit features a sealed, splash-proof membrane keypad and large backlit LCD for easy control and clear display of settings and results. Front-panel programming allows test sequences to be set and locked, with trip current and duration measured to millisecond resolution.

User-Friendly AL Manager Software

The optional GI-Software allows remote control of the GI-IS Series through various available interfaces. Test sequences can be created and saved for engineering or production use.
